AU: Annie had died when she was captured by the capitol
Annie had died when she was captured and tortured by the capitol. When Finnick had heard the news from katniss, they lost him. He had lost his hope and sanity to the point were he wanted to commit suicide. But as he was about to take his life, he remembered his family, Mags and Annie. All of them died in vain because of the capitol and he wanted justice for them. Finnick did his best to keep his promise by fighting alongside Katniss.
On their way to the mansion of Snow, Finnick got killed by lizzard mutts. There was a second of pain then it was all gone. When Finnick opened his eyes, he found himself in the most beautiful place he had ever seen. He then saw a familiar woman walking in a distance.”Annie?” He said loudly. The woman turned around, smiled and said “Hey Finn,” “Annie!” Finnick shouted as he ran towards Annie. He felt extremely happy because after all they had been through, they were finally safe in each others arms for eternity.
Despite his promise, Annie never saw her golden haired boy again.
“I smiled at him again, confirmingwith my head and saying: “your father would be very proud of you, my love… And look how big is this fish!”

Annie heard a noise coming from the room and she stopped reading the book, standing up to go see her son, who was moving in bed, awake. The little baby smiled soon as he saw his mother and when she scowled at him, he gave a low laugh, still kind asleep, and felt his mother’s body lying in bed and embracing him slowly until he closes his eyes once more and go back to sleep.
